We met Samantha and her bridesmaids at the Hilton Airport hotel for the pre-ceremony getting ready photos. Then proceeded to the Chateau Country Club for any formal portraits. The original plan for the wedding was to be outside, in the gazebo to the back of the club house. Unfortunately, it had been raining earlier that day, so the plans had been altered to move the ceremony inside. The ballroom at the country club is very spacious and plush, however, so it makes a lovely location for this situation. Prior to the ceremony, we did a ‘first look’ session with the bride and groom in the lobby of the club house. The staircases leading up each side of the room make for an elegant location for this, and the light coming in the windows is nice also.<\/p>\n

After the ceremony, we proceeded to the first dances as we had already taken all the formal portraits prior to the ceremony. This is the advantage of doing a ‘first look’ session, and it helps the flow from the ceremony to the reception.
