\nWedding & Reception: Mount Hope Plantation, Baton Rouge, LA<\/p>\n

The rain held off for Alli & Scott’s wedding at Mt Hope Plantation in Baton Rouge, and it turned out to be a lovely ceremony. The plantation house makes for a wonderful indoor\/outdoor setting for the reception. The grounds have nice garden areas and extra cottages for the pre-ceremony getting ready. I love the outdoor reception setting as it allows for some discrete candid photos that capture the fun without being intrusive. For the cake decorations, Alli & Scott got the little bride and groom bird figures for the top of the cake from Japan. It was a unique touch, and make for a great prop to photograph the wedding rings.<\/p>\n
