We started the day taking photos at the Royal Sonesta, doing some pre-ceremony getting ready photos and then doing bride portraits followed by groom portraits in the lobby. The ceremony & reception followed at The Balcony in Metairie, where Melanie & Derek had a great time with family & friends.
We did Kimberly’s bridal portrait at Fairview St. Park in Mandeville, LA. She was a lot of fun to photograph, very light hearted and a great smile, as you can see in the photos where the wind picked up her veil. Kim and Blake had their wedding at the Antebellum House in Slidell, it was quite a party.
Danielle & Brock will be having their wedding tomorrow, here in Mandeville. We did their engagement portraits for a guest signature photobook that came out fabulous. Looking forward to the wedding!

Krystal & Nicholas’ wedding was last weekend at the Money Hill Country Club in Abita Springs. The weather was gorgeous, as was the bride. This wedding was a long time in the making, they postponed it for a year, so when the time came everyone was definitely ready for a party!

We did Alicia’s bridal portrait at Longvue Gardens in New Orleans in November. She and Jason just had their wedding last weekend, so now I can show how lovely her portraits are. We’ll post some photos from the wedding soon, it was fabulous.
Cristina & Chad had their beautiful beach wedding at the Hilton Sandestin hotel in Destin, Florida. The sand in your toes, waves and a sunset, what more romantic setting could there be for a ceremony? For something this special, we will be there!
Chelsea & Ryan had a beautiful wedding at Benedict’s Plantation, in Mandeville LA. The reception afterward was a blast for everyone. Flowers were by J & J of Covington, LA.
Happy Mardi Gras! Here are photos from the Original Krewe of Orphues parade on the Friday before Mardi Gras. They rolled through Mandeville on a chilly but fun filled night.
